Gibbs High School Eagles The official home of the Gibbs High School Eagles! Gibbs High School was founded in 1913 in Corryton, Tennessee. The principal of the school is Mr. Jason Webster.

The school serves approximately 1,000 students and is located in North Knoxville. The Gibbs High School community envisions a school that prepares all students to be college and career ready through a strong foundation in academics, fine arts, industry-aligned CTE programs, and real-world experiences. We are committed to fostering meaningful relationships, engaging families and community partners,

and equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and character to thrive in an ever-changing world. As part of the Knox County Schools 865 Academies, Gibbs High School offers 9 career pathways in The Academy of Technology, Engineering & Design, The Academy of Business, Health, & Professional Services, and Freshman Academy. The Assistant Principals are Dr. Chad Turner, Dr. Melissa Walsh, Ms. Jennifer Sullivan, and Ms. Melissa Graves. Other school leaders are Ms. Ashley England, Academy Coach and Mr. Dustin Mynatt, Athletic Director.
