Will Spierdowis breaks the 5K school record with a 16:24.48 at the KIL Championships on Saturday. His time breaks Shawn Jakubowski's 22-year record from 2001.

Spierdowis finished 16th out of 97 runners.

McKenzie And Will represented GHS well at the TSSAA State Cross Country Meet. McKenzie got 60th out of 250 and Will 119th out of 250 runners. Very proud of their hard work this year.

Congratulations to McKenzie Morton (5th overall) and Will Spierdowis (12th overall) in the Region meet today. Both of these runners will move on to the State Cross Country Championship Meet!!! They both have been working very hard to accomplish this! I am very proud of them both.
