Andrew was a wealthy of information and his slide presentation was very good. He spoke about the current state of the cactus and succulent market, touched on rarities, pricing and demand.
The theme today was Euphorbias and there were several amazing plants on display.
Ellen S. brought a very nice selection of raffle plants and everyone had a great time!
There were several new faces in the audience, they got complimentary plants and a warm welcome!

What a fantastic Sunday the 17th turned out to be in Corralitos! Even a locked Grange meeting hall couldn’t stop this determined and good-humored group from making the day a memorable one. With sunshine, fresh air, laughter, and plenty of cactus camaraderie, everyone simply rolled with it and made the best of an unexpected situation.

New faces and longtime members alike gathered around to enjoy Jorge’s hands-on potting demonstration, where plants found fresh new homes and attendees picked up helpful tips along the way. Dave followed with an incredibly informative presentation on drilling drainage holes, choosing the right drill bits, and adding feet and mesh bases to keep succulents healthy and dry. Creativity was everywhere — from an adorable ceramic hamburger bun to a charming cottage cookie jar, ordinary items were transformed into one-of-a-kind cactus and succulent planters.

Meryl kept the excitement going with a lively raffle that ensured everyone left with a new plant to pot and enjoy. Add in coffee, refreshments, and the warm hospitality provided by Lyn and Lou, and the day became the perfect reminder that great company and shared passions can turn any hiccup into a wonderful adventure.
