As we prepare for our graduation ceremonies this week, we’re also excited to kick off our Compass Kids Summer Session ☀️

🍎Teacher Spotlight🍎

We are thrilled to introduce Ms. Carolina ❤️ as our 1 and 2-year-old teacher at Compass Kids MDO!

Bringing a wealth of experience to our program, Carolina has served as the Journey Church Nursery Director since the summer of 2022 and continues to volunteer as a teacher for the PreK5 through 2nd-grade ministry. Her professional journey with children spans over six years, beginning as a paraprofessional and transitioning into substitute teaching, all of which is built upon a deep personal foundation of thirteen years as a stay-at-home mom.

Having dedicated over a decade to raising her three daughters—now aged 18, 15, and 8—and caring for many nieces and nephews, she possesses a natural, nurturing intuition that is perfect for our littlest learners ❤️

When she isn’t in the classroom, Carolina loves spending quality time outdoors with her family whether they are bike riding , fishing , heading to the beach , or enjoying a day at the park ☀️

We are so blessed to have Ms. Carolina’s heart, experience, and joyful spirit as part of our MDO family! ✝️

Mrs. Carolyn ❤️

As a stay-at-home mother of three, Mrs. Carolyn understands firsthand that while children are a profound blessing, every parent can use a helping hand. Driven by a calling to support her community, she stepped into her role as a Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, joyful environment for local families 👶

At Compass Kids, her mission is to take the load off parents by providing a fun learning experience that ultimately points children toward the God who loves them most ✝️

Her dedication to service continues beyond the classroom; as a regular member of Journey Church, you’ll find her with a smile on her face 😊 serving in the nursery during Sunday and Wednesday night services 🙌

Whether she’s teaching toddlers or rocking infants, Mrs. Carolyn is committed to loving the next generation and serving the families of her community with heart and faith ❤️
