The West Oso ISD Education Foundation invites you to attend its annual Black & Silver Gala on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Corpus Christi Country Club. This special evening supports the foundation and celebrates excellence across our district—but this year’s event holds particular meaning for our school community. One of our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees is our recently retired band director, David Alvarez.

Mr. Alvarez dedicated decades to shaping the lives of students through music, discipline, and pride in West Oso. His impact reaches far beyond the band hall, and this recognition is a well-deserved tribute to his legacy. Attending the gala is a wonderful way for us to show our appreciation and support.

The evening will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner, and dancing—all while celebrating outstanding individuals who have made a lasting difference in our schools. Please come and enjoy a wonderful evening while supporting the students and teachers of West Oso ISD.

On Wednesday, May 20th, and Tuesday the 26th, three of our athletes signed their letter of intent. They were apart of the first, 6th grade pre-athletic class at West Oso. Look at them now!!

Congratulations and best of luck to Kendall Taylor, Veronica Garcia, and Alivia Shaw!

Grace's Pantry will be open in two weeks from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. We are fully stocked with meats, cheeses, and canned goods and ready to serve all families with students enrolled in WOISD. We are located in the portables at 5050 Rockford Drive.

‼Please note that Grace's Pantry will be open once monthly and by appointment only.
