The ATA Black Belt Academy is a member of one of the world's largest martial arts organizations, the World Traditional Taekwondo Union (WTTU). The United States affiliate of the WTTU is the American Taekwondo Association [ATA]. At the ATA Black Belt Academy, we are not only interested in teaching self defense, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student. Taekwondo is for every-one, we train adults, as well as children. Mission Statement:

instructors receive certification only after an FBI background check, three (3) year rigorous training period under the supervision of a certified instructor, and attendance at international instructor certification (boot) camps, and seminars. You and your children are guaranteed to receive the best and safest training available anywhere. All our instructors are First Aid and CPR certified! Taekwondo and Martial Arts training for Adults:

We train our students to the best of their ability. Some come to us in shape while others as much as 100 pounds overweight. Karate for Kids:
The K-4-K is for kids from 6 to 13 year old. The system is based on a life time learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as:

In addition to our monthly themes, our system includes the unique "Victory Patch" and kids are awarded special "victory stars".

*** Blue --- Monthly themes, weekly lessons, classroom
performance.
*** Gold --- Academic achievements, or significant
improvement.
*** Red --- Tournament participation.
*** Silver -- Special performance awards. To show our support for educational excellence, students are awarded the ‘A-Team’ patch for straight A’s from their school, to wear on their uniform. Tiny Tigers:

The Tiny Tiger program was developed specifically for preschool age children (3 to 6). The program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect and discipline. Just like the Karate for Kids program, Tiny Tigers have their own unique "Victory Patch" and "victory stars". Stars are earned similar to the K4-K with slight modifications in recognition of the preschool age child.

All five patches, as earned, can be displayed on the child's collar. ATA Membership:

We provide four (4) weeks of classes for only 34.95 prior to joining the Academy. This will serve as a trial period before the student decides to join. During the trial period, we will provide you with all the information on our programs for you to make an informed decision. Tuitions:

New students: A one year membership fee of 49.00 allows you to join the ATA / WTTU international organization. You will receive a welcome letter, membership card and a quarterly magazine “The Way of Taekwondo” from our headquarters. We provide a discount for multiple family members. Rank System:

The rank system is divided into 4 major levels: I, II, III, IV
Level I: White, Orange, Yellow belts. Level II: Camouflage, Green, Purple belts. Level III: Blue, Brown, Red belts. Level IV: All Black belts. Note: Level II and above join one of the advanced
programs: Black Belt Club, or Leadership Program. Formal Testing:

Every 8 to 9 weeks the eligible students are tested for higher rank and upon successful completion are awarded their new belt and certificate from our ATA / WTTU International Headquarters. ATA Black Belt Academy "Building Strong Bodies and Clear Minds"
