We loved welcoming our students and families back to campus and seeing so many new smiling faces! 💙 It was a great afternoon filled with excitement, connections, and anticipation for the year!

We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow, August 11th for the first day! Arrival begins at 7:30 a.m.

For the safety of all students, parents will not be permitted to walk students to classes for morning arrival. All students will be escorted to their classes. We can't wait to see everyone! 💙 🏫✨

Corpus Christi ISD continues Community Eligibility Program for 2026-2027 school year

Corpus Christi ISD is pleased to announce that it will continue providing free breakfast and lunch to all students for the upcoming school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision provide breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at no charge.

“We are pleased to continue offering free breakfast and lunch to all CCISD students,” said Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez. “This program helps ensure every student starts the school day ready to learn and succeed.”

The free meals program is made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture via the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

CCISD has been providing free breakfast and lunch since 2018. During the 2025-2026 school year, CCISD served over 6 million free breakfast, lunch, Saturday and supper meals.

Parents and guardians do not need to complete a free or reduced-price meal application. However, they should still complete the district income survey as part of the online registration process. This information helps CCISD qualify for grants, funding and other programs that benefit students.
