Corpus Christi Polar Bear Plunge & New Year's Day Run

The Corpus Christi Polar Bear Plunge reached a new fund raising record this year of $22,322 for the ALS Therapy Development Institute! ($150,000 in the event’s history.) None of this would be possible without the support of our sponsors - thank you!!

It’s a beautiful day at North Beach! On-site registration and packet pickup opens at 10:45am at Fajitaville, 221 S Hotel Place. Fun run begins at 11:15am and the plunge is at 12pm. The water temp is 63 and air is supposed to warm to 70 degrees by plunge time. Polarbearplunge.cc

(Did you know that Youth Odyssey operates the ropes course alongside IH37, and even if you don’t win this, anyone can reserve a trip directly with them?) You can do high ropes or low ropes - a great team-building activity.
