Class of 2026 Seniors earned their Robotics Cords tonight.

FTC teams 9923 Team AAA and 4902 Team Novabots competed in the Buc Days FTC Robotics Competition today.

There were 27 teams that competed in 34 Qualification Matches.

Team AAA 9923 ended being with a 7th place rank and Team Novabots 4902 ended with a 16th place rank.

9923 Team AAA were the 5th Alliance Captain, and chose a young team from the Rio Grand Valley to ally with. Unfortunately they lost both playoff matches.

This wraps up our competitive robotics season for the 2025-2026 school year.

Coach Cavazos and Coach Stuart are very proud of everyone who put in the hard work this year. We know we have to work even harder for more success next year. 🤖 💗 🤖

Moody High School Land Robotics finally got to compete in a VEX V5 Robotics Competition this year.

Team 43448C The Cosmic Cowboys ended up in 14th place and were the Captain of the 8th Alliance.

Team 43448B The Celestial Buckaroos finished in 12th place, and were selected onto the 7th Alliance.

Unfortunately both teams alliances were knocked out in the quarterfinals, but this was every student’s first ever VEX Robotics Competition, so there was so much learning that happened. Coach Chris S Cavazos and Coach Randall Edwin Stuart are so proud of the teams and can’t wait for next season! 💗 🤖
