Students enrolled in CDEC: 1356 Emergent Literacy class learned about the hummingbird migration through the Coastal Bend that happens in September, and created their own hummingbird puppets to use with children.

Using play-based learning is a great way to support children’s awareness of natural happenings in the environment.
