Today, we wanted to give recognition to our Seniors who spent their time with us this year. From Raider competitions, to military balls, and even the National High School Drill competitions, we couldn’t have come this far without our Seniors. We especially want to recognize James and Max for their incredible dual performance during the pep-rally together, as well as Franco for everything he has given to the corps throughout his time with us. His leadership has helped us become greater then we could have imagined. We are wishing the Class of 2026 the best, and cannot wait to see what they accomplish. Make us proud and make your dreams come true, VMHS Seniors 2026!

Today, on May 16th, our JROTC cadets came out to help with the annual beach to bay marathon! 🏃♂️🏃♀️We helped serve water to 700+ of the runners keeping them hydrated throughout the day, and Franco’s group helped 627 people working alongside the medical tent! Our cadets also created posters to show support from the sidelines to the runners and boost overall morale. So grateful for everyone who showed up, volunteered, and help out today💪.These photos are just a small part of the teamwork and effort put in today.

On Friday, May 1st, our cadets volunteered at the Mireles Maritime Festival, helping bring the event to life for the community. We gave out drinks, food, and snacks, and ran fun stations for kids like petting zoos, golf games, and more. Seeing everyone enjoy themselves made it all worth it.
Proud to serve, connect, and give back together. 🇺🇸

April 25,2026. The Annual Buc Days Parade was one to remember We proudly showed off the military flags, honoring those who serve and sacrifice every day. The Sardogs brought the energy, flipping rifles with precision and pride as we marched through the streets. Moments like these remind us what it means to represent something bigger than ourselves discipline, tradition, and unity.

Today we had the honor of attending the 27th anniversary of the Navy League of the United States event at the Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi. Being surrounded by service members, leaders, and supporters of our maritime forces was an incredible experience and a reminder of the dedication, discipline, and sacrifice it takes to serve our country.
From observing the strong traditions upheld at the station to connecting with individuals who give their time to support the Coast Guard and Navy communities, today was both inspiring and meaningful. Opportunities like this allow us to grow, learn, and better understand what it truly means to lead and serve.
Grateful for the chance to represent, to learn from the best, and to be part of something bigger than ourselves. The future is built on days like today.
