Some of you may recognize this smiling face from our Women in Industry Fashion Show runway, where she proudly represented the next generation of women exploring careers in industry.

Today, we're excited to celebrate Marivel Recio, who is heading into her senior year at Corpus Christi ISD's Foy H Moody High School and spending her summer as an intern with the Port of Corpus Christi's Marine Assets team.

Opportunities like this give students a chance to move beyond the classroom and gain firsthand experience in industries that keep our communities, ports, and economy moving. From career exploration to real-world workforce experience, Marivel is taking an important step toward discovering what her future can look like.

We couldn't be more proud to watch her continue growing, learning, and saying "yes" to new opportunities.
