We pray this break offers our Warrior families a welcome time of rest, renewal, and fellowship. May we delight in God’s good gifts, enjoy time with those we love, and return refreshed for the work ahead.

As our Warriors return home from Camp Eagle, we’re grateful for all the Lord has given us in these four days together.

Days 3 and 4 were filled with archery tag, house photos, talent show competitions, ziplining, rappelling, and time outdoors. We saw students step beyond their comfort zones, celebrate one another’s gifts, and lift their voices together in praise and worship.

Our prayer is that they come home with more than stories of adventure, but with stronger friendships, a deeper appreciation for God’s creation, and hearts encouraged to follow Christ in the days ahead.

Thank you to our teachers and staff for caring for our students so faithfully, and to our families for sharing them with us. What a gift this time together has been!

Camp Eagle - Days 1 and 2!

From praise and worship to house competitions, hiking, rappelling, and ziplining, our students have filled these first two days with energy and joy. Along the way, they’ve spotted local wildlife, braided hair with wildflowers, and made memories in the river - where Mrs. George and Mrs. Stapper were spotted taking a dip, too!

We’re thankful for the chance to step away from our usual routines, grow closer as a school community, and delight in God’s creation together.

This morning, students, families, and staff gathered around the flagpole for See You at the Pole. Our sixth grade class led us in prayer, and ACA alumna Emily Martinez led us in song. We are grateful for the way they helped our community pause and turn our hearts toward the Lord together.

At Annapolis Christian Academy, prayer is part of how we live and learn. We want our students to grow comfortable bringing every part of their lives before Him - and caring for others by praying with them and for them.

This year’s See You at the Pole theme, “Come to Me,” comes from Matthew 11:28. Christ’s invitation is a reminder that none of us has to carry our burdens alone.

This morning, our Logic & Rhetoric students traded classrooms for the Texas Hill Country as they departed for their annual retreat at Camp Eagle!

Over the next few days, students will worship together, spend time in God’s Word, strengthen friendships, compete for their Houses, and take on plenty of adventure - from hiking and swimming to ziplining, rappelling, s***t shooting, and more.

A classical Christian education is about forming more than the mind. It is about cultivating wisdom, courage, fellowship, and a life ordered toward Christ. Sometimes that formation happens around a desk - and sometimes it happens high in the hills, around a campfire, or while cheering on your House.

We pray these days away give our students time to step outside the ordinary, delight in God’s creation, encourage one another, and return home strengthened in both faith and friendship.

Have an incredible retreat, Warriors! May everything you do be for His glory.

This weekend, our Warriors Outdoors students spent time in the field learning firearm safety, marksmanship, and the responsibility that comes with hunting and handling fi****ms.

A special thank you to ACA family Steven and Amanda Kocurek for welcoming our students onto their property and providing opportunities to practice long-range shooting, handguns, and s***t.

Warriors Outdoors exists to get students outside - to experience the beauty of God’s creation and learn to hunt with wisdom, respect, and gratitude, honoring both the Creator and the animals He has entrusted to our care.

What a way to close out Warrior Week!

Friday was filled with Warrior spirit - from face paint and a spirited Pep Rally to volleyball, football, and a campus full of red, white, and blue. Our Warriors competed hard, encouraged one another, and celebrated together, with Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Football both finishing the night victorious!

But Warrior Week reminds us that victory is about far more than the scoreboard. We strive for excellence, compete with courage, celebrate with joy, and give thanks in all things - not ultimately for our own glory, but for His.

To God, Most Good, Most Great - Deo Optimo Maximo.

May all that we learn, all that we do, and every victory we celebrate point back to Him.

Our Interim Head of School, Mrs. Erin Stapper, was all smiles this morning thanks to a special Warrior Week treat from our incredible PALS!

PALS brought the Wanderlust Coffee Truck to campus to serve complimentary drinks and treats to our faculty and staff - and that’s after spending hours this past weekend transforming our campus for Warrior Week!

We are blessed by parents who joyfully give their time, talents, and hearts in service to our school. “Through love serve one another.” - Galatians 5:13

Warrior Week is in Full Swing!

From PJs to palm trees, and boots to briefcases, our Warriors have certainly understood the assignment!

Warrior Week has given us a chance to step outside the ordinary, enjoy a little friendly fun, and celebrate the community God has given us at ACA. Whether dressed for bedtime, the islands, the ranch, or a future calling, our students and staff have brought plenty of joy, creativity, and Warrior spirit to campus this week.

And we aren’t finished yet…

Students, staff, families, and visitors - we want to see you GO ALL OUT! Break out the red, white & blue, ACA gear, face paint, bows, beads, crazy socks—whatever says WARRIOR PRIDE loud and clear.

Let’s finish Warrior Week together with a campus full of school spirit, grateful hearts, and a whole lot of Warrior pride.
