🚨 NEW DISMISSAL PROCEDURE 🚨

Dear Parents and Families,

To help alleviate the long pickup line along our one-way route from Toronto, we are making an adjustment to our dismissal procedures:

PK–2nd Grade & Older Siblings: Pickup will continue through the “horseshoe” drive-up area.
3rd–5th Grade: Pickup will now take place through the drive-thru on the staff parking lot side.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make this change to help dismissal run more safely and efficiently for everyone.

Meet the Teacher is Almost Here!

The countdown is on, and we can’t wait to welcome our students and families back to campus!

Friday, August 7th:

Pre-K/Kinder Camp
10:00-11:00 am

Meet the Teacher
🕙 2:00 -3:00 PM

Pre-K: Students and parents will report directly to their classrooms.

Kindergarten: Students will go to their classrooms while parents will attend an informational session in the cafeteria.

🎒 Don’t forget to bring your school supplies! Dropping them off during Meet the Teacher helps make the first day of school smoother and allows students to settle in and start learning right away.

Our staff has been working hard to prepare for an incredible year, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back.

Our Leadership Retreat was a wonderful way to kick off the new school year! 💙

This year, our focus is on well-being, staying grounded, and leading with purpose. We began the day with some fun and relaxing Teacher Yoga, enjoyed a delicious potato bar lunch, and spent meaningful time engaging in conversations that will shape the year ahead.

Together, we embraced our commitment to mentorship—supporting one another, leading by example, and investing in the growth of those around us. As a leadership team, we’re committed to going beyond the surface and doing the deep work that makes a lasting impact on our students, staff, and school community.

We’re excited for a year of growth, connection, and purpose. Here’s to a fantastic school year at Ella Barnes! 💙✨
