Today was such a special day as we welcomed our Galvan Explorer Community back to campus for Meet the Teacher!

A very special WELCOME to all of our new Galvan families joining our Explorer family for the first time! We are so excited to have you with us! And to our returning Galvan families, welcome home! We are so happy to see your familiar faces and continue this journey together. 💙

Our campus was filled with excitement, smiles, hugs, classroom visits, and lots of anticipation for the year ahead. We are ready to make this an incredible year of learning, growing, exploring, and reaching new heights together!

Galvan Explorer Families,

We're excited to welcome our Explorers back for an amazing school year! Join us on Monday, August 10th for two special events designed to help your child start the year with confidence.

🎈 Pre-K, Kinder & AE Camp

🗓 Monday, August 10
🕙 10:00–11:00 AM

Our youngest Explorers (Pre K, Kinder, & AE) and their families are invited to:
🍎 Meet their teacher
🎒 Bring labeled school supplies
🏫 Visit the classroom
💙 Learn about classroom routines and expectations

Parents will begin in the cafeteria for a brief presentation about our school before visiting classrooms.

🎒 Meet the Teacher (1st–5th Grade)

🗓 Monday, August 10
🕑 2:00–3:00 PM

Students in 1st–5th grade are invited to:
👩‍🏫 Meet their teacher
🏫 Visit their classroom
🎒 Drop off school supplies
🤝 Meet our amazing staff

Families will begin in the cafeteria for important Back-to-School information before being released to classrooms.

Please take a look at our drop off and pick up locations. Please know that during the first week of school traffic is heavy, and anticipate long lines as everyone gets back in the routine. We can’t wait to see you!

District wide Convocation 2026 It takes a village to do what we do. A special thank you to CCISD Transportation Department for getting us to and from Convocation safely and thank you for all you do for our students! It’s going to be a great year!
