He’s a multifaceted designer with work ranging from clean and corporate to dark and gritty. "Throughout his design journey, he’s focused on areas such as visual branding, exploring typography and letterforms, developing digital illustrations, and has even taught lower-level design courses as an adjunct instructor. Mentoring and teaching have been at the core of his work at TAMU-CC Marketing and Communications, and in the classroom as he has worked with many design students in the program over the past few years. Alyssa Quezada is a graphic design senior from Corpus Christi, Texas. Her focus is comprised of brand identity and publication design as she enjoys problem solving and discovering the best solution for a brand and structuring layouts. Given her previous background in architecture, Alyssa’s design work is heavily influenced by structure and geometry. After graduation, Alyssa plans to pursue a career locally at an in-house organization to practice the continuous use of branding. Introducing Julia Coleman 💻

Julia Coleman is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in Ingleside, Texas. She describes her design style as bold, fun, modern and versatile. Her love of the arts and all things creative has led her to Graphic Design, where her traditional art skills have truly blossomed into new mediums. Even though she is well-versed in the digital world, between designing she also loves to just whip out a pencil and paper to draw. Her favorite aspect of design is brand and identity, because she likens each brand to a ‘character’ that she can flesh out. She enjoys exploring the brand ‘character’s’ voice, style, psychology, personality, appearance, and their everyday ‘accessories’ (i.e., brand extensions, applications, etc.). She also values human-made art and design, meaning creating original and unexpected solutions is always something she is passionate about doing herself, with no AI required (not even for this bio). She is ambitious and enjoys a challenge, so even if she is unfamiliar with a style, program, or culture, she will be sure to thoroughly research and be fully immersed in whatever she dabbles in. She loves a challenge, and regularly tests the limits of what she can do with her skills and creative eye. Julia has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a minor in marketing from Texas A&M University Corpus-Christi. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, writing, singing, watching movies and shows, and playing with her 3 family dogs. When she finds the time to draw, her favorite things to draw are people, specifically characters and portraits.

Check out more of Julia’s work at or in person at our exhibition, Senior Mosaic. Join us on May 14th at UC Oso 221.
