Thinking about my brother, David, or Charles, or Charlie, or Chuck as he was known at Borger High and Texas Tech. This is his birthday—he would be 77. This photo is the first one I came to—he is 3rd from the right on the front row. He had that gorgeous curly hair. My sisters envied that! Blessings to David today— I miss him!

Any coastal Bend directors have oboe/bassoon kiddos working towards All Region tryouts? Yes. I know it’s marching season. I played clarinet from 5th grade through grad school, mostly marching. But my majors were oboe and bassoon!
