Dear London Elementary Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to the 2026-2027 school year! Our Meet the Teacher event is today at 5:00 PM at London Elementary, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Please bring supplies especially the bulky ones, so that students have a light load to bring the first day of school!

Please note:
Class rosters continue not to be accessible on the Ascender Portal, or on ParentSquare! Not to worry! We will have rosters posted outside the building, as well as staff members throughout the building with class lists! If in doubt, the front office will be the place for you to go! No need to keep looking and refreshing that screen!

Please review the following important details to help the afternoon run smoothly.

🕓 Event Details:
Doors will open at 5:00 PM.
Anyone not sure or have registration questions enter through the main doors, to the front office.
Report directly to their child’s homeroom classroom.

🏫 Campus Layout:
All families should enter the building based on where grade levels are housed, if you have multiple children in multiple grades, pick a side to start.
1st and 2nd grade classrooms are located in the east wing (the side of the building closer to London Pirate Road)
3rd and 4th grade classrooms are in the west wing (closer to the Pirate Stadium Side), with the exception of one 3rd grade classroom.
Designated staff members will be stationed throughout the building to help guide families in the right direction.
We will also have maps posted throughout the building.

🚗 Parking & Traffic Flow:
Please park in the Pirate Stadium parking lot to avoid congestion near the Elementary campus.
We will have not staff at the cafeteria side of the building to open doors.
Follow a one-way traffic pattern to help keep drive paths clear and safe for all families.
Do not park along the drive paths — use designated parking lots only.
Please at all costs, avoid parking in the grass along London Pirate Road. Even though we no longer have fencing, note that is a non-parking area.
At a quick glance, we have over sixty new families and counting, joining our LISD community!! We are one community helping each other. The great thing about Meet the Teacher on a Monday, is we will still have tomorrow as a staff to make any adjustments needed. Thank you for your patience and grace!

📌LES Scavenger Hunt-As an added fun, take some time to complete the LES Scavenger Hunt. (We will have these printed and a location to drop them into a box for a chance to win prizes! Drop in box will be in the West Wing Corner!)

There are areas located throughout the building for photo ops! Be sure to take those pictures and share them to our social media page and even responding to this post! We would love to compile a video to celebrate our first event for the year!
