The ninth annual Piano Celebration Week is over! Thank you for joining us for ten days of great music. The festival showcased a diverse array of performances, featuring guest artists, faculty, students, and over 600 pre-college pianists from the Coastal Bend region, Brownsville, Houston, and Laredo. These esteemed participants engaged in 25 scheduled events, all of which were free of charge and open to the public. The festival brought together students and parents, independent music teachers, local music teachers associations, area businesses, local government, national organizations, universities, professionals, music enthusiasts, and more. Their collective efforts were instrumental in supporting music participation, collaboration, and the celebration of the mastery and artistry inherent in piano performance. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the following organizations and individuals whose extraordinary support made the festival possible:

Today is Islander Day of Giving!
Each year at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Piano Celebration Week provides opportunities for pianists of all ages and abilities to join us in celebrating piano music and artistry. In addition to experiencing performances given by world-class pianists and the opportunity to participate in educational master classes, Piano Celebration Week serves a cultural need in the Coastal Bend by offering pianists at every level the unique and confidence-building experience of performing on stage in the H-E-B Performance Hall in the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Additionally, this festival positions Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and the City of Corpus Christi as a destination for musicians seeking to study at the University level by showcasing not only the beauty of our campus and the city but also the dedication of our faculty and students to sharing the benefits of music education with the community. Piano Celebration Week is made possible through community support. All concerts are free and open to public audiences.
We appreciate your support of Piano Celebration Week and your support of piano and music education in Corpus Christi.

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATION!
The Piano Institute is an educational component of the annual Piano Celebration Week at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The Piano Institute is dedicated to teaching piano to children in the community whose parents or guardians lack the financial means to afford private lessons. We are offering 30 free lessons per student, starting in January 2026. Students are expected to participate in the program for the entire duration of 8 months, from January to August. This ensures that each student benefits fully from his/her lessons. If the student remains in good standing with the program, we will make every effort to ensure their continuation for the following academic year.
The Piano Institute is sponsored by the Division of Research and Innovation at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
