Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and Technical Education

Harold T. Branch Academy is an early college high school with an emphasis on career and technical education in the Corpus Christi Independent School Dist. H. T.

In partnership with Del Mar College's West campus, Branch Academy serves students by means of a strategically crafted program of study that mixes traditional and technology-based education. Students take the majority of their high school classes on site with their college level course work offered at Del Mar College. At Branch, preparing for a career is very important. While working to earn a certificate and acquiring state-of-the-art skills, students plan and prepare for industry-based employment upon graduation. Branch Academy for CTE enrolls about 100 students each year in a student-centered, active learning environment.

Our welding students represented Harold T. Branch Academy with pride at Del Mar College’s Día de los Mu***os Welding Competition! 🔥⚒️

They showcased incredible skill, creativity, and teamwork while competing alongside talented students from across the area. Events like this give our students real-world experience, help them grow their confidence, and allow them to shine in their chosen career pathways.

We are so proud of the dedication and hard work they put into preparing for this competition. Congratulations to our students and a huge thank-you to Del Mar College for hosting such an amazing event celebrating culture, craftsmanship, and community! 💀✨

📸🎓 Senior Picture Day is Almost Here! 🎓📸

Hey Class of 2026 — it’s time to smile for the camera! Senior Picture Day at Harold T. Branch Academy is happening on Friday, August 15th from 8 AM to 12 PM in The D.E.C.

✨ Students will be taking formal portraits AND cap & gown photos, so come dressed and ready!

👗 Girls: Please wear a top that can be tucked into a drape and a nice necklace (like pearls).
👔 Boys: Please wear a white button-down shirt, black tie, and black sport coat (if available).
