Our very own M.S. student Marissa Spinelli was one of four Hoekje scholarship recipients. Her presentation to the Audubon audience this evening was excellent. Congratulations Marissa!

Center staff and students are presenting at the AI-themed Research & Innovation showcase event today. Audiomoth data are on display. These are passive acoustic devices for detecting presence of species that make sound (e.g., birds, insects, dolphins, shrimp). We are deploying them in our Texas wetlands, as well as mangroves in The Gambia.
