Every week, Veterans Memorial High School recognizes a military veteran family member of a varsity football player. 🇺🇸 Friday night, we proudly recognized United States Army Veteran Specialist Four Paulino Landa, SP4. He is the grandfather to #5 Nathan Silvas and cheerleader Ariana Silvas.

Specialist Landa began his military service at Fort Ord, California, as a light-weapons infantryman and later served at Fort Davis, Panama, from 1969 to 1971. During his service, he earned the National Detense Service Medal and qualified as both a Sharpshooter and Expert Marksman. He completed his service with an honorable discharge on September 9, 1971.

Good food, great company, and time together as a team before GAME DAY! 💪🏈
