This is a great opportunity for positive role models who genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them develop confidence, respect, discipline, teamwork, and strong character.

Our Christian-based After-School Program serves students from Pre-K through seventh grade and includes:

Position Details:
📅 Monday–Friday
🕑 Approximately 2:00–6:30 p.m.
⏰ Approximately 24–26 hours per week
💵 Starting pay: $14 per hour
📈 Earning potential: Up to $20 per hour
📚 Training provided for the right candidates

Experience in education, childcare, after-school programs, summer camps, coaching, martial arts, youth ministry, or recreation is preferred—but not required. Martial Arts training not required.

Applicants must be dependable, punctual, comfortable leading and supervising groups of children, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Life Martial Arts is hiring two energetic, dependable After-School Program Instructors for the 2026–2027 school year.

Our Christian-based program serves students from Pre-K through seventh grade and combines martial arts, self-defense, character development, physical activity, enrichment, games, and structured supervision. We are looking for positive role models who genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and build confidence.

Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00–6:30 p.m.
• Occasional Friday evening and Saturday events
• An additional 1–2 hours each week for meetings or training
• Approximately 24–26 hours per week
• Starting Pay $14/hour with earning potential up to $20/hour.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead planned, age-appropriate enrichment activities
• Assist with martial arts drills, fitness activities, games, crafts, life lessons, and outdoor recreation
• Actively supervise students in classrooms, on the training floor, and during outdoor activities
• Maintain positive classroom discipline to support student safety and learning
• Help students transition safely and efficiently between program rotations
• Build positive relationships with students and encourage confidence, respect, discipline, and teamwork
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe activity areas
• Communicate professionally with staff members, students, and families
• Follow all Life Martial Arts and After-School Program Policies and Procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Life Martial Arts is hiring three dependable, safety-minded After-School Drivers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Be dependable, punctual, patient, and safety-conscious
• Enjoy working with children from Pre-K through seventh grade
• Take direction willingly and provide reliable follow-through
• Respond to changing situations with flexibility, creativity, and good judgment
• Work collaboratively with coworkers and families
• Communicate calmly and professionally
• Observe all health and safety regulations
• Be comfortable driving a 15-passenger van

Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00–4:45 p.m.
• An additional 1–2 hours each week for team meetings or training
• Approximately 12-15 hours per week
• Starting Pay $16/hour.
• Opportunity to earn up to $20/hr.
o After completing an assigned school pickup route, drivers have the opportunity to remain at Life Martial Arts and help supervise after school students as an After School Program Assistant.
o This would involve leading planned activities, and support our instructors until the program closes at 6:30pm.
o This position allows you to have a positive impact on the lives of children through Bible lessons, character development and helping students make friends. Help us help kids have fun while learning to become the best version of themselves.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Safely transport students from their schools to Life Martial Arts
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, attendance procedures, and student-release policies
• Conduct required vehicle safety checks and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle
• Properly supervise students while loading, riding, and unloading
• Communicate professionally with LMA staff, school personnel, students, and families
• Notify management immediately of delays, vehicle concerns, behavioral issues, or emergencies
• Program Assistant Opportunity: [After Driving
o Assist with student check-in and transition into the after-school program
o Actively supervise students during classroom, martial arts, recreational, and outdoor activities
o Help lead games, drills, enrichment activities, and structured rotations
o Maintain appropriate discipline for student safety and learning
o Ensure that all Life Martial Arts and After-School Program policies are followed
o Perform other related duties as assigned

Driver Requirements:
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Clean and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate an LMA 15 Passenger Van
• Ability to pass any required driver qualification or vehicle training
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or must be obtained after hiring. LMA will pay for this.

Prior experience driving children, operating passenger vans, working in childcare, teaching, coaching, martial arts, or youth ministry is helpful but not required.

📢 LMA Family Update
Due to illness affecting several of our instructors, Life Martial Arts will not be holding any evening classes today, Monday, June 8, 2026.

A stomach bug has hit our staff hard over the last few days. While we have enough camp staff available to safely finish Summer Camp today, we do not have enough Black Belt instructors available to properly conduct our evening Karate, Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.

As a result, ALL evening classes are canceled for today. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our instructors work incredibly hard, and we're taking this evening to allow them some much-needed rest and recovery so they can return healthy and ready to serve our students.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support of our LMA family. Normal Class Schedule will resume Tuesday, June 9, 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience.
