💚💛This week, Bishop High School recognizes Ileana Valadez, our Communities In Schools Coordinator, in celebration of Communities In Schools Week!

Mrs. Valadez plays such an important role in supporting our students and families. Whether she is connecting students with resources, helping meet individual needs, building relationships, or simply being there when a student needs someone to listen, her work makes a difference every single day.

She is a strong advocate for our students and works tirelessly to help ensure they have the support and resources they need to be successful.

Mrs. Valadez, thank you for showing up for our students, supporting our families, and being a caring and consistent presence on our campus. BHS is truly grateful for all that you do. 🤩💚💛

Miss Jackie, CISCB Garcia Elementary School Student Support Specialists along with her campus were excited to have Dr. Roland Hernandez kick off their Hispanic Heritage Month by coming to read to their young scholars. Thank you Dr. Hernandez for helping make this week memorable for the students.

This week, our CISCB Breakfast Club students worked on an “All About Me – Del Mar Vikings” worksheet! 📝✨

The students answered fun questions about themselves, including things they like, their favorite school subject, something they’re really good at, and what they want to be when they grow up.

Mrs. Taylor, Ricardo ISD CISCB Student Support Specialist has really enjoyed reading through all of their worksheets and learning a little more about each student!

The Counseling and Training Clinic (CTC) at TAMU-CC is excited to offer walk-in hours for members of the community seeking support and a safe place to be heard.

Need someone to talk to? Call or come to the CTC on Mondays and Wednesdays during the clinic’s walk-in hours.
