The BatCave sends a huge shout-out to the 14U Corpus Christi Team for their amazing performance at the PONY World Series. The boys played hard and demonstrated a baseball brotherhood for all to see. We came up short in yesterday's game, but nothing takes away from their amazing dedication and hard work. Thank you to the coaches who modeled an outstanding craft in coaching and belief in the boys. Thank you parents for your support that was on clear display and could be heard by all that were watching online. Congratulations boys for making it to play in the World Series, a title that will forever be remembered. The BatCave supports the Corpus Christi 14U Pony Team playing the World Series in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They beat Bay County, MI 8-3 in their first game and came back to beat Columbia 12-6 yesterday. They play their third game today at 6pm Corpus Christi time. There are heavy hearts throughout the South Texas Baseball community tonight. Our family is saddened by the loss of Will Roland. He was a true student of the game and a South Texas Baseball Icon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Roland family. May Will soar with the Angels and Rejoice with our Lord n Savior!

I have been diagnosed with cancer andy son and his friends are having a softball tournament for my benefit. Hope to see you guys out there.
