No instructions, no screens, just pure imagination! Today, our outdoor space transformed into a bustling train station and a launchpad for deep-space exploration, all powered by a few plastic crates and the children's incredible creativity. When we let them lead their own open-ended play outdoors, simple objects become anything they can dream up—whether they are deciding who drives the train or counting down a spaceship blast-off. It is so wonderful to watch them work together, solve problems, and build confidence while having a blast!

We missed all of our little ones today, but our teachers had a wonderful day of learning and working together!We started with a sweet devotion focused on how the Lord refreshes and fills us, remembering how Jesus calls us to rest so his love can guide us through our busy days.Today we reviewed our staff policy and procedures handbook, followed by our family handbook. We reviewed how our center policies are designed to exceed Texas minimum standards for childcare, prioritizing safety and excellence in everything. After the time of learning we rolled up our sleeves and fully organized the supply closets, keeping every item grouped together where it belongs.
We want to thank all of our wonderful families. We hold you and your children close to our hearts, and we truly thank our God every time we remember you. See you on Monday!

We praise God for the sweet fellowship and love shared between generations today. 💕A big THANK YOU to all the families and grandparents who joined us. Your presence and wisdom are such a blessing to our community! 🙏🏼✨We also want to send a special shoutout and a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Vasquez for generously providing the delicious kolaches and donuts from CC Donuts! Your servant's heart is a gift to us all. 🍩☕️May God continue to richly bless our amazing grandparents as they lead our families in faith and love.

🐦As the children spot the local birds, we are reflecting on how the same Creator who designs and tracks every small creature also knows and deeply loves each one of them.It is a beautiful, hands-on way for our students to practice early science skills, grow their focus, and nurture a gentle respect for God’s wonderful creation. 🌿

🌈 A simple trick for big feelings! 🌈
We’ve been using this "rainbow tracing" trick to help calm down during stressful moments, and it is a total lifesaver. It's actually a wonderful tool from Conscious Discipline!
When kids get overwhelmed, just telling them to calm down doesn't always work. Instead, we have them trace the arches of a rainbow with their finger while taking slow, deep breaths.
Why it works:
• Moving their finger slows down their racing mind.
• Following the lines gives them one simple thing to focus on.
• It naturally guides them to breathe in and out slowly.
It is such a quick, sweet, and screen-free way to reset a tough moment.
This little one has started to go to our calming corner on her own! We are so blessed and happy when we see the children learning these important skills!
