FCEA EOC of Corpus Christi

On Tuesday August 11th, the EOC Team had the privilege of sharing our program with the vibrant community at Cafecito Con Esperanza, hosted by the incredible Esperanza De Tejas at their Resource Center. We were inspired by the determination of clients and Corpus Christi Housing Authority residents as they shared their aspirations and goals for a brighter future through education and career training. It was an honor to connect with these individuals and empower them to take the next step towards achieving their dreams. Those that attended also received baby formula, wipes, and goodies. We're grateful for the tireless efforts of Esperanza De Tejas, a true champion of community development, and we invite you to join forces with them by donating essential items, sharing your positive experiences, or lending a helping hand to create a ripple of positive change in our community! 💪🏽

July was a busy month for our EOC team as we participated in several local events to help our community prepare for the upcoming school year.

We were honored to present the EOC Program during CoastLife Credit Union's Financial Fridays Financial Literacy Sessions for the 19-21 year old age group that received important information regarding credit scores, budgeting, and how to be a fiscally responsible young adult on July 24th. On July 25th, we attended the LEAD First Happy Health Back-to-School Health Fair, where over 300 families received backpacks, school supplies, shoe vouchers, immunizations, and sports physicals. We also joined Esperanza De Tejas Back-to-School Night on July 29th, which provided families with essential hygiene products, clothing, and household resources. Finally, we enjoyed participating in the Operation Safe Return Back-to-School Fair at the Hillard Center on August 1st, where we shared information about our services and distributed school supplies to attendees.
