Offering free or reduced cost programming in education, arts, health, and counseling, the Garcia Center serves about 20,000 children and adults per year.
The Garcia Center is a collaboration of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi's College of Education, the Art Museum of South Texas, and the City of Corpus Christi.

These works by our spring Islander Enrichment Academy program art class students are now on display at the Art Museum of South Texas! Assignments include Picasso guitar collages, 3D cardboard constructed Picasso guitar, sunset prints made with bubble wrap, textured ceramic fish, and pastel night time drawings of the new Harbor Bridge. Congratulations to our students for this great honor!

Our young entrepreneurs had an amazing time building and decorating their very own lemonade stands at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts & Education Center! From bright colors to creative designs, each stand is one of a kind, and we can't wait to see them all in action tomorrow.
