Let’s help our artists shine!!

Yeager PTA is excited to host a PTA Reflections Arts Workshop to help our young artists get ready for this year’s Reflections program! The 2026–2027 theme is “What My Culture Means to Me,” giving students an opportunity to express their family, traditions, heritage, and what makes their culture special through art.

Join us on Thursday, September 17, from 5:30–6:30 PM in the Yeager School Library for an evening where students can:
🎨 Brainstorm ideas inspired by their culture, family, and traditions�✏️ Learn how to develop their ideas into an artwork�💭 Practice writing an Artist Statement�🏆 Learn about the Reflections program and judging requirements�❤️ Get encouragement and inspiration from their PTA community

La PTA de Yeager está muy emocionada de organizar un Taller de Arte de PTA Reflections para ayudar a nuestros jóvenes artistas a prepararse para el programa Reflections de este año! El tema para 2026–2027 es “Lo que mi cultura significa para mí”, brindando a los estudiantes la oportunidad de expresar a través del arte a su familia, sus tradiciones, su herencia y lo que hace especial a su cultura.

Acompáñenos el jueves 17 de septiembre, de 5:30 a 6:30 p. m., en la biblioteca de la Escuela Yeager, para una tarde en la que los estudiantes podrán:
🎨 Generar ideas inspiradas en su cultura, familia y tradiciones.
✏️ Aprender cómo desarrollar sus ideas y convertirlas en una obra de arte.
💭 Practicar cómo escribir su “Declaración del Artista” (Artist Statement).
🏆 Aprender sobre el programa Reflections y los requisitos de evaluación.
❤️ Recibir apoyo, ánimo e inspiración de su comunidad de la PTA.
