PARENTING TIP: If you do not have a bedtime routine with your child, start one today, and stick to it! As much as it may come down to a battle of the wills sometimes, YOU can do it! When a child is learning a new skill, like a bedtime routine, it takes a lot of repetition and they will get it once they see mom and dad are not backing down...that "this is important and it matters, because we love you." It is truly a gift you give to your child when they can learn how to self-soothe and be confident in their own bed!

There are all kinds of visual-guide printouts available online for a healthy morning/bedtime routine, etc... Print one and post it in your child's bedroom to help them see what's happening next, and let them be the leader! There's nothing better than seeing your child proud of their achievements. We are here to help!

Encouraging Healthy Sleep Habits Sleep is critical to children’s everyday functioning. A good night’s sleep helps prepare children to attend to new experiences, positively engage with others, and build memory and attention skills.

Our theme for this year’s 3rd Annual My Preschool Conference was “We Are Better Together.” We value unity, because we know, if we work as a team, we can accomplish so much more in our classrooms, in our center, for our families, and for our children. We love what we do and we feel so honored to get to be a part of leading the next generation!

We presented our Tenure Award to Ms. Debbie Perez (Alameda), who has been with us almost 10 years! We recognized each center’s Peer Recognition Award recipient for their exemplary work ethic, positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond for their children, families and peers: Ms. Danyka Ruiz – Maldonado (Alameda); Ms. Emilie Desma (Northwest); Ms. Jessica Ybarra (Rodd Field); Ms. Virginia Navarrete, Ms. Ashley Hanelt and Ms. Sarah Wolf (South); and Ms. Toriyama Vara and Ms. Karina Rodriguez (West).

We had a wonderful time of laughter, tears, strategizing for early childhood best practices, learned a lot about each other, and played a lot of fun games, because you should never stop being playful! One of our games called the Necklace Giveaway game quickly became quite emotional for everyone! A series of statements are made and you place a necklace around the neck of the person you feel the statement most fits. For example, "Someone who is a friend" "Someone you respect" "Someone you would like to know better" "Someone who is a leader" "Someone you love." We also had a fun time trying to guess who was who on the baby picture frame!

All of this for our staff and families as we work hard to build a strong team of unity, one vision, one mission, with one purpose in mind…the child. Thank you to our amazing families for all of your support! We value your trust in us and truly feel blessed to do what we do! In the mighty name of Jesus!

In just one year, Ms. Giselle has brought so much love, kindness, and joy to our school. Her caring heart and positive spirit have made a meaningful difference in the lives of our children, families, and staff.

This past Saturday, our wonderful staff had the opportunity to participate in the Back-to-School Teacher Fair hosted by Workforce!

It was an incredible day filled with learning, encouragement, and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. We enjoyed connecting with other educators, being poured into, and even bringing home some amazing prizes!

Our team had a wonderful time at the Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend 12th Annual Back To School conference! We won some great prizes for our classrooms! We always want to be growing and learning to give our best to our children. So grateful for this beautiful team of early educators.
