The DMC Architectural/Drafting Technology Program invites you, family, friends and industry leaders to attend our Spring 2025 Exhibition to be held at the Oso Creek Campus, STEM Bldg. We are proudly showcasing our Architectural Student Designs, Portfolios and handing out Awards. Come join us for a fun evening of hobnobbing and light refreshments.

Did you know Del Mar College offers college degrees in Architecture, Drafting and Construction Management? Take a look at what our Students are learning and building at the DMC Oso Creek Campus. Photos are from Spring 2025 Group Projects. In our college credit classes, students learn an introduction to materials and methods in the design of construction buildings, in addition to learning various drafting & design software. Scholarships - Del Mar College

Building Partnerships in Architectural Education (BPAE) Conference, was hosted Friday, Oct 25, 2024

The Del Mar College Architecture/Drafting Technology Program hosted a meeting of the minds with other Texas Colleges. In this conference, we collaborated on curriculum and how to better offer our Architecture Transfer Programs.

Our Director, Laura Bienek and Faculty guided other college leaders throughout the Oso Creek Campus, STEM Building Tour.

In this tour, students' Portfolios and impressive work was showcased and many positive comments were made by college leaders.

A special thank you to all Students, Faculty, Staff, Director and especially to all Texas College Representatives who traveled to the Corpus Christi area and participated in this successful BPAE Conference.

Good News!! Fall 2024 - Lecture Series starts Wednesday, Oct 9, 2024, 5:30-6:30 pm Del Mar College, Oso Creek Campus 7002 Yorktown Blvd, Crp Christi TX 78414 - All interested in Art + Architecture are invited to attend this informative Lecture Series that shows how art influences Architecture.

Our Fall 2024 Exhibition begins Oct 1, 2024- You are invited to see Art + Architecture as Designed by David Baird after attending this lecture in the 1st Floor, STEM Bldg.

We are having our Spring 2024 Exhibition, Wednesday May 1, 2024 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the DMC Oso Creek Campus, located at 7002 Yorktown Blvd, STEM Bldg.

We will be honoring our students, handing out Awards and celebrating milestone accomplishments with food and refreshments.

You will have the opportunity to meet and greet industry partners and leaders.

We look forward to seeing you, your family and friends, ALL are encouraged to attend this honorable event.

On January 23, 2024, Laura N. Wright Bienek, AIA, RID was awarded the local American Institute of Architects Corpus Christi Chapter's Outstanding Member Award for 2023. The award was recently renamed in honor of Jennifer Hilliard, AIA who recently passed in October 2023.

Laura Wright Bienek was awarded this honor for her work to develop and grow the Del Mar College Architectural/Drafting Technology program, her dedication and mentorship to its students, and her service to the profession and the community.

The award was given during the AIA Corpus Christi 2024 Kick-off Party and 2023 Honor Awards Ceremony held the evening of January 23 in the new community ballroom in the Culinary Arts Building on the Oso Creek Campus.
