✨ Mini Grant Winner Spotlight ✨

We’re excited to recognize Ruben Gonzalez of Magee Intermediate as a Mini Grant recipient for his project, “Wild For STEM.”

This grant supports the use of *The Wild Robot* along with classroom supplies to create an engaging STEM-focused learning experience. By connecting literature with hands-on science activities, Mr. Gonzalez is helping students explore concepts like problem-solving, innovation, and the relationship between technology and the natural world.

*Wild For STEM* highlights the power of cross-curricular learning — where reading and science come together to spark curiosity, creativity, and deeper understanding.

One of the most important items on the agenda will be the nomination and election of our 2026-2027 PTA Board Members. As several of our amazing board members move on to middle school with their students, we have a number of open positions and would love to welcome new faces to our team!

Being part of PTA is so much more than meetings and events- it’s building friendships, supporting our amazing teachers and staff, creating fun experiences for our students, and making a real difference at Magee. It’s been such a rewarding experience to be part of our children’s school community, and we’d love for more parents to join us!

Whether you’re interested in serving on the board, helping with events, joining our volunteer group, or just learning more, we’d love to hear from you!

Free dress passes for Monday, May 18th have officially been delivered for all students who participated in our Spring Fundraiser! Thank you so much for supporting Magee PTA and helping us continue to love on our students, staff, and school.

What a wonderful way to wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week at Magee! 💙🐾

Today our staff showed off their Wildcat pride and enjoyed a delicious lunch from Nolan’s provided by the school. Walmart Corpus Christi - US Highway 77 also spoiled our teachers with a beautiful and delicious cake for dessert, and PTA gifted each staff member a small succulent as a sweet little reminder of how appreciated they are.

This week was filled with fun, treats, prizes, meals, and so much love from our amazing community. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, encouraged, and helped us celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who pour into our students every single day.

We truly love serving our teachers! 💛
