Today our students kicked off their Foundations in Personal Finance class—learning the basics of making wise financial decisions and building a strong foundation for their future.

From budgeting and saving to understanding how money works, these are real-life skills that will benefit them long after graduation! 🙌

Merit Money: A Positive Way to Encourage Great Choices! 🌟

At Grace Temple Academy, we believe positive behavior deserves positive recognition! Our Merit Money program rewards students for completing homework, helping with duties, showing acts of kindness, demonstrating good character, and making positive choices.

Students can then take their hard-earned merits to our Merit Store, where they can shop for fun rewards! 🛍️🎉

It’s more than just a reward system—it’s a way to encourage students to take responsibility, serve others, work hard, and understand that doing what’s right matters! 💙

Friday was sight seeing day in Chicago,IL. We visited The Bean, Field Museum, Architecture River Tour, and Centennial Ferris Wheel at Nay Pier. We rode scooters downtown, ate deep dish pizza and finished off with Chicago dogs.
It was an exciting day!
