Our recycling week 2024 kicked off today! Tomorrow we will “Team up to recycle” students can wear sports shirt/jersey! Students will engage in a campus clean up, as we pick up items around campus that we can recycle.

This Friday, September 29th Baker will be participating in a school wide walk around campus to show our support for su***de prevention and awareness. We are still accepting water and Gatorade donations for staff and students to enjoy after the walk. If you would like to make a donation feel free to contact our office staff or drop it off to the front office by September 28th. ❤️🖤

🎉 🥬🥕🍓🥒It is Grow Local Farmers’ Market 11th birthday this week! 🥬🥕🍓🥒 🎉

To celebrate there will be 🥬🥦VEGGIE Vouchers 🥬🥦 for the first 100 children (5-17 years old) at market! Stop by the Grow Local Farmers’ Market table for more information! What’s eligible you ask!?!?!?! All fruits and veggies at market, plant starters, and food producing plants! Veggie Vouchers are available with the generous funding from The Port of Corpus Christi!

Grow Local also accepts SNAP/EBT cards!!! There is over 25 vendors that accept SNAP/EBT at the farmers’ market! We are continuing the Grow Local Bonus Coupons where customers who purchase $1.00 with SNAP/EBT they will get $1.00 in Grow Local Bonus Coupons. There is a limit of $20.00 per day, while supplies last. Funding for this programming is generously being provided by Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. (https://mhm.org)
