📍 IMPORTANT: When you arrive, please head to the AUDITORIUM first! We will begin each session together with a brief kickoff before families are released to visit classrooms and meet their teachers.

⏰ Meet the Teacher Times:
🎒 PreK3–2nd Grade: 1:00–2:00 PM
🎒 3rd–6th Grade: 3:00–4:00 PM

After our kickoff, families will head to classrooms to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, learn important procedures, and get ready for an incredible year!

📚⚓ Metro E Families – Arrival & Dismissal Information for 2026-2027! 💜💛

As we prepare to welcome our Buccaneers back for another amazing school year, please take a few minutes to review our Parent Drop-Off and Parent Pick-Up maps below.

These procedures are designed with one goal in mind—keeping every child safe while making arrival and dismissal as smooth and efficient as possible.

A few important reminders:
🚗 Review the map for your child's designated pick-up location.
🚫 Please do not use areas marked "Not a Drop-Off Location" or "Not a Pick-Up Location."
👋 Students may enter through the Main Entrance or the PreK Gate. (PreK families will continue to use the PreK gate.)
🏫 Parents (with the exception of PreK parents using the PreK gate) will not be walking students to classrooms.

We know the first few days may take a little extra patience as everyone learns the new routines. Thank you in advance for your grace, cooperation, and partnership in helping us provide a safe and positive experience for all of our students.

Their dedication ensures that students and staff can learn and grow in a space that is cared for with pride and excellence. Through their hard work and commitment, they help our school explore in a clean environment, create in safe spaces, and lead by example in service and responsibility.

Day 2 of Campus PD started with one of our favorite CCISD traditions…Convocation! 💜🎉

Today, CCISD employees from every campus and department—from teachers, custodians, downtown offices, food services, and everyone in between—came together at the Hilliard Center to officially kick off the new school year. We were also excited to see family members of our staff in attendance, many of whom are educators at other CCISD campuses or current students, adding an extra layer of pride and connection to the celebration. It was an inspiring gathering that highlighted the incredible work happening across our district and the exciting year ahead.

We were especially proud to cheer on our very own piano teacher, Ms. Melton, who took the stage and performed with the live band! 🎹🎶 What an amazing way to showcase the talent we have right here at Metro E.

CCISD is the place to be… and so is Metro E! We can’t wait to continue preparing to welcome our students back for another year of exploring, creating, and leading together. 💜🧭
