Does your child love to act and sing? Join our after school musical theater program!

Islander Youth Theater by CoSA Foundation in association with Playground Players Productions presents TWO different options for your child to participate in Frozen Jr.!

FULLY-STAGED FROZEN JR. MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION for 2ND-8TH GRADES:
Our mainstage program for children in grades 2-8 meets 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 beginning September 3rd, 2024, and culminates in two performances on the main stage at Coronado High School on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th. All students MUST be able to attend both performances. No rehearsal will be held on October 31st.

FROZEN SHOW CHOIR for TK-1st:
Our second option is a Junior Show Choir workshop for TK-1st grade students. These students will work on songs from Frozen Jr. and will be meeting at Village Elementary School from 2:55-3:55pm on Thursdays beginning September 3rd, 2024 culminating in two performances on the mainstage prior to the full show of Frozen Jr. on November 14th and November 15th. All students MUST be able to attend both performances. No rehearsal will be held on October 31st. Be sure to register soon before spots fill up!

This Thursday, April 27th from 5:30pm - 7pm Safe Harbor Coronado is presenting a parenting workshop on Paving the Way for Healthy Relationships at the CHS Performing Arts Center.

We are working with Safe Harbor Coronado on the Drug Store event which brings drug abuse education and awareness to 6th graders. We would greatly appreciate your help by helping us provide meals and snacks for our amazing volunteers.

Donation items can be dropped off starting Monday, March 13th in the CMS Front office. All donations, except for the coffee, are due by Monday, March 20th @ 3:30pm.

Happy Galentine’s Day! Grab your favorite Gal Pals and head to Vom Fass for the CMS PTO Galentine Fundraiser! Please join us tonight, February 9th from 5:30pm-8pm at Vom Fass at the Ferry Landing. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased via Venmo . Ticket price includes 1 drink ticket, lite bites, fun surprises and the perfect opportunity to purchase your Valentine gifts. Possibly a beautiful Pouch bag.
15% of retail sales during the event will go back to the CMS PTO. Funds raised will go towards 7th and 8th grade field trips and the All School Olympics!

Do your kids love to sing and act?

CoSA Foundation and Islander Youth Theater in association with Playground Players Productions presents Beauty and the Beast Jr. for children ages 6-16! Our 10-week program meets 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 beginning April 11th, 2023, and culminates in a performance on the stage at Coronado High School on June 13th, at 6:30. Your child will learn all aspects of theater in this fun, interactive, and immersive program.

Be sure to register soon before spots fill up! **Our discounted pricing this semester made possible by a generous donation by the Vernetti Family.

Join the after school musical theater program with Islander Youth Theater! Registration is for children 6-16 years of age.
