Our Elementary SOAR Store is officially up and running! ❤️🖤 A huge thank you to our first group of amazing volunteers who jumped in to help. The SOAR Store gives our Thunderbirds a fun way to celebrate making positive choices and showing what it means to be Safe, Organized, Achieving, and Respectful. Today, our Thunderbird community came together for our Patriot Day Assembly to remember the lives lost on September 11 and honor the courage, service, and sacrifice of our military members and first responders.

We were especially proud to recognize the family members of our CCA students who have served or continue to serve. Thank you to our students, staff, families, and honored guests for helping us reflect on the importance of courage, compassion, and unity.

Hoy, nuestra comunidad Thunderbird se reunió para nuestra Asamblea del Día del Patriota para recordar las vidas perdidas el 11 de septiembre y honrar el valor, el servicio y el sacrificio de nuestros miembros militares y socorristas.

Nos sentimos especialmente orgullosos de reconocer a los familiares de nuestros estudiantes de CCA que han servido o continúan sirviendo. Gracias a nuestros estudiantes, personal, familias e invitados especiales por ayudarnos a reflexionar sobre la importancia del valor, la compasión y la unidad.

PTA Reflections – Show Off Your Creativity!

Calling all CCA student artists, photographers, musicians, dancers, and filmmakers! The PTA Reflections Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to express their creativity and share their talents with our school community.
Students may create an original entry in one of the following categories: Visual Arts, Photography, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, or Film Production.

All entries are due Friday, October 23rd.
We encourage students of all experience levels to participate. You don’t have to be an expert—Reflections is all about using your imagination, expressing yourself, and sharing your unique ideas!
Start creating today, and we can’t wait to see what our students come up with! Information and entry packets will be available in the office next week!

Cesar Chavez Academy will be holding a whole-school Patriot Day Assembly on Friday, September 11, from 8:15–9:00 a.m. We will come together as a community to honor this important day with a celebration of patriotism and service.

Help Us Honor Our Heroes

As part of our assembly, we would like to recognize and honor current and retired family members who have served in law enforcement, fire service, or the United States Armed Forces.
Please complete one form per family member.
If the service member is able to attend, we would be honored to recognize them on stage.
If they are unable to attend, we will still recognize them by reading their name during the assembly. Please submit the form by Tuesday, September 9.

What a great day at CCA! Our middle school Thunderbirds kicked off the year with our first dance — Luau style! 🌴🌺

Music, dancing, friends, and a whole lot of fun! Thank you to our staff and student leaders who helped make tonight such a great experience for our students.
