I am reaching out today with a mixture of excitement and bittersweet emotions to share some significant leadership news regarding our school community.

Celebrating a Promotion

At this week’s CNUSD Board meeting, it was officially announced that Nancy Alfaro, our dedicated Assistant Principal, has been promoted to the position of Principal at Adams.

We couldn’t be more thrilled for her to step into this role. Having worked closely with Mrs. Alfaro, I know firsthand her passion for our students, her deep understanding of our school culture, and her commitment to excellence. Adams is in incredibly capable hands, and I look forward to seeing the school continue to flourish under her leadership.

A New Chapter

In tandem with this change, I am writing to share that I will be embarking on a new journey as the Principal of Foothill Elementary School.

The last four years at Adams have been some of the most rewarding of my career. Being a part of this community has been an absolute honor, and I want to thank you for your partnership and support. You have truly helped me grow, not only as an educator but as a leader and a person. While I will deeply miss my Patriot family and the daily connections with our wonderful students, I am confident that the “torch” is being passed to the perfect successor.

Thank you for the memories, the growth, and the privilege of serving this community.
