God reminds us that He is near. You don’t have to carry every worry, fear, or uncertainty on your own. When life feels beyond your control, surrender it to the One who is still in control.

Today, we honor the men and women whose hard work, sacrifice, and dedication help strengthen our families and communities.

But some of the most important work we will ever do won’t come with a paycheck, promotion, or recognition.

It’s the work we do inside our homes.

Fathers, the time you invest in your children, the prayers you pray over your family, the example you set, and the love you give are building a legacy that can impact generations.

Your work matters. Your presence matters. Your family matters.

This Labor Day, take time to rest, enjoy your family, and remember that some of your greatest Kingdom work may be happening right at home.

Fear may be loud, but it doesn’t have to control you.

When you say “yes” to God, doubt, anxiety, and fear may try to convince you to stop. But remember Paul’s words to Timothy:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

God never promised we wouldn’t face things that scare us. He promised to be with us through them. So when fear tells you to quit, remind yourself of what God has already given you: power, love, and a sound mind.

Don’t let fear keep you from becoming who God is calling you to be.

What kind of legacy are your ordinary days building?

We often think the biggest moments are what our children will remember—the trophies, awards, scholarships, big wins, and special accomplishments.

But the truth is, a legacy is built in the ordinary days.

Deuteronomy 4:9 reminds us not to forget what God has done, but to teach it to our children and to their children after them.

Your kids are watching how you live out God's story—not just during the big moments, but in the everyday ones. The conversations around the table. The prayers before bed. The way you respond when life gets difficult. The way you love, forgive, encourage, and point them back to their Heavenly Father.

Those ordinary days may not feel extraordinary right now, but they are shaping the next generation.
