Tema: Movimientos Estudiantiles para la celebración del Día de los Mu***os
Hola a tod@s! Queremos invitar a la comunidad de IMI Corona a participar en nuestra escuelita comunitaria de Octubre en donde aprenderemos sobre varios movimientos e individuos relacionados con la justicia educativa al nivel local y en el mundo. De esta discusión seleccionaremos a los 7 eventos/personas que honraremos en el Día de los Mu***os de Corona Plaza al 29 de Octubre. Estaremos trabajando en grupos para construirle altares a cada uno. También estaremos continuando la conversación con familias de las escuelas de Corona sobre los cambios que quieran hacer en las escuelas, y pensaremos en siguientes pasos. Venga y sea parte de nuestro trabajo!

Topic: Student Movements for Day of the Dead celebration
Hello everybody! We want to invite the community of IMI Corona to participate in our community escuelita for October where we will learn about various movements and individuals related to education justice at the local level and in the world. From this discussion we will select the 7 events/people that we will honor on the Day of the Dead Corona Plaza on October 29th. We will be working in groups to build each of them altars. We will also continue the conversation with families from Corona schools about changes they want to do in their schools, and we'll think about next steps. Come be part of our work!
When: Friday, October 7th 5pm-7pm
Where: IMI Corona (108-59 Roosevelt Ave.)
Who: All people and families who want to help us to create altars for the Day of the Dead and join our education campaign at IMI Corona!
