Table Topics is the part of the night nobody can prepare for. This week a guest won it — from Shanghai.

Our theme was HEAT WAVE and the Word of the Day was SIZZLING. Bond took the floor as our speaker, Sandra delivered the evaluation, and Best Table Topics went to Sam, joining us as a guest from 15 hours ahead.

Our Toastmaster Franklyn set the tone early by naming the hottest place he's ever been: Arizona.

Class was in session at Circle City Toastmasters. 🍎

Our Back to School meeting opened with a question: who is the one teacher whose lessons still stick with you after all these years? Everyone was able to instantly identify someone, and most of those teachers never knew.

Franklyn gave the evening's speech on discovering his primary communication style and learning to flex it when the room calls for it. Bond delivered the evaluation. Jade took Best Table Topics. Word of the day: STUDIOUS.
