Childcare with specialization in bilingualism Hello! I am Miss Sam, a CUNY graduate who embraced the rewarding journey of motherhood after a career in tech.

Inspired by my children and my experience as a stay-at-home mother of twins, I founded "Tiny Explorers of Cornwall," a nurturing space where children can thrive through engaging, play-led activities and exploration tailored to their developmental needs. With a provider-to-child ratio of 1:5, I ensure personalized attention in a loving and fun environment that promotes rich engagement through books

Little hands, big focus ✍️
At Tiny Explorers, we practiced tracing!
Every line he traced wasn’t just a squiggle—it was a step toward stronger fine motor skills, pencil control, and handwriting confidence. Watching his concentration and excitement reminded us that learning starts with the smallest strokes. 💛

At Tiny Explorers, we love games🎲especially the memory flip and match!
This simple activity provides so many benefits for toddlers and is one of our tools for playful learning.

✨ Benefits:
• Boosts memory & concentration
Matching cards helps strengthen short-term memory, attention to detail, and focus.
• Develops cognitive and visual skills
It improves pattern recognition, visual discrimination, and critical thinking.
• Enhances fine motor skills
Flipping cards builds hand-eye coordination and dexterity—perfect for little hands.
• Teaches emotion regulation & rule-following
Children learn to take turns, follow rules, and manage both wins and losses.
• Supports confidence & persistence
Making a match builds confidence; trying again builds resilience.

🧩 Tips for Parents:
1. Start simple — Begin with 4–6 pairs or face-up matching, then build up.
2. Use familiar themes — Animals, foods, or favorite characters make it fun.
3. Play together — Model turn-taking and celebrate each match.
4. Celebrate mistakes — Help kids try again and stay encouraged.
5. Increase difficulty gradually — Add more cards as your child grows.

✨ Parents, want a playful way to reinforce Spanish at home?We love using Simón Dice (Simon Says in Spanish) as a fun, active way to practice body parts vocabulary while kids move, laugh, and learn!

Playful learning helps build your child's confidence in Spanish naturally—through movement and joy! 💛
Have you tried Simón Dice before?Tell me below—what body part would your child love to say in Spanish? 👇
