Thank you to the CCSD community for supporting our annual budget and proposition 2 and 3. I'm incredibly proud of the work we have done this year as a BOE in conjunction with the admin team to pass a sensible budget and add over $65MM in capital improvements that will benefit our students now and for generations to come.

Our community has spoken on proposition 4, the athletics field. We as a BOE need to reach out for feedback on what we want as a community in this regard and we will do so.

Congratulations to BOE the candidates. I look forward to serving and/or continuing to serve with all of them.

We want to be sure everyone understands their choices when they vote on Tuesday, May 19th. First proposition is for the annual school budget, the next three are for the capital project.

NOTE: the tax increases shown are based on a property with an ASSESSED value of $300k. This is different (and usually much lower) than market value. (Look up yours on the town website. It's the number labeled "SCHOOL TAXABLE VALUE.")

And remember to vote this Tuesday!

I hope everyone is enjoying summer. Your BOE has enjoyed a lighter meeting schedule but we are still doing important work. At our last meeting this past Monday the 12th of August we ratified BOE goals and Superintendent goals for the 2024-25 school year as well as seated members for our BOE committees. We are looking forward to serving our community for the upcoming year.
