Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, guardians, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, and support the children in their lives.

Thank you for the example you set, the wisdom you share, the sacrifices you make, and the faith you model each day. Your influence reaches far beyond today and helps shape the hearts and futures of the next generation.

🎓Class of 2026!🎓
Last week we celebrated graduation with our seniors! Representative Heidi Sampson encouraged them in her student address. We are excited to see what God has in store for this group of Godly young adults.

Our students worked right up until the end of the school year! Mrs. Magowan and Mrs. Graffam's third and fourth grade class hosted a State Fair last week. Each student chose their own state to complete a project on. We learned about California, North Dakota, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and Arizona! Well done third and fourth graders!

Our students finished the year strong! A couple of weeks ago Kristen Hinkleyled some of our high school students through frog dissection. Even those that were nervous going into it ended up appreciating the experience. 🐸

On Friday, we hosted what has become our annual spring concert. This year we celebrated joy coming from obedience and the fact that crime doesn't pay. There were some silly times that included bees and some more serious times where we sang about how great and mighty our God is. Shoutout to Mrs. Almanzar for putting on a show that was the bee's knees!

Last Tuesday our 6th through high school students enjoyed a morning of fun at Spare Time in Portland. We bowled, played laser tag and used the arcade! It was a fun time with friends away from the classrooms!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, OVCS is grateful for the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. May we never forget those who served with courage and gave everything for others.
