Hi, Friends! We have an update on plowing. As a part of Corning Community College our lot gets plowed after the main campus. With the massive snow fall and a shortage of staff on campus the plowing is taking longer. The nature center lot should be cleared soon. In the meantime we recommend parking on the main campus and accessing the trails from there. Enjoy!

In light of the current COVID-19 public health crisis we will be delaying the spring opening of the interpretive center. Trails will remain open. Please exercise caution when using the trails and practice appropriate social distancing protocol.

During this time, getting outdoors and connecting with nature is a way to help maintain our mental and physical health. Scientific studies show that time outside in nature, especially among trees, significantly reduces stress and anxiety, lowers blood pressure, improves mood, energy and sleep, and boosts the immune system.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: you're invited to the Eileen Collins Observatory TOMORROW at 7:30pm for "A Spacecraft Tour of the Solar System." This FREE talk invites guests to take a virtual journey through our stellar neighborhood, including planets, stars, moons, asteroids and more!

Join us here at and explore the facility. If it is clear, we will also have telescopes out to observe astronomical objects that are in the sky that evening.
