Boots in the Barn: A Beef Producer Education Series

Join us this November and December for Boots in the Barn, a four-part educational series designed to provide practical, research-based information for beef producers. Learn from industry experts on topics including feedlot management, farm management, pasture management, and herd health.

The best way to learn about anything is straight from the source. We polled Adams County 4-H members and asked them what they liked about 4-H and how they would describe it in 3 words. Some of our answers included:

"I like 4-H because I get to do lots of fun things."
"I like 4-H because I get to show my animals and the photos that I take."
"4-H in 3 words is....Fun, Family, & Animals".
"4-H in 3 words is...Fun, Challenging, & Learning."

I see a reoccurring message of 'fun' here 👀 . We are always looking for new people to join the fun, so reach out to us today!

The office will be closed October 12-13th for staff training up in Ames. We will also be starting youth programming in the next week, so please be aware that the office may be closed for a short period during the day as we get to spend time with Adams County youth!
