Until H.R. 676 Medicare for All passes, please tell President Obama to use the MEDICAID expansion money that was rejected in the red states to create a MEDICARE EXPANSION and allow those poor eligible workers to receive health coverage through medicare, thereby inching us toward medicare for all.

An old English prof of mine once said: "If you want a Ph.D. in Medieval History, you must either be after some museum curator's job or want to teach Medieval History to those who want to be museum curators." Moral of the story: Either pick a career that fits a need, or teach people to become something they can never become. Doctorates that enlighten seldom result in actual jobs; though they may provide comfort, they do not necessarily provide a living.

On 9/11/2001, I was working a job that I started at 9am CST. That means I usually woke up at 7am CST to get ready to go in. On that particular day, I woke up around 6:30am and couldn't go back to sleep. Finally, at around 7am I forced myself up and turned on the TV, which I NEVER did. Within a few minutes, planes were crashing into the Twin Towers. While I remain skeptical about religion, that comes as close as anything to a Spiritual Nature as anything I can pinpoint.
