Tune in this Friday at 7:00 p.m. as WPFP/Trail Mix 103.1 FM out of Park Falls broadcasts the Cornell VS Chequamegon Football game @ Cornell! 🏈

The game will be available for EVERYONE to listen to at TrailMix.fm and on the free Civic Media App.

With heavy hearts, the entire Cornell Chiefs football family takes time to reflect on the heartbreaking loss of Adam Massman of Alma Center-Lincoln—a young man who was doing what so many of us love, playing the game of football.

In moments like this, we set aside team colors, rivalries, and scoreboards to mourn the loss of one of our own. Some things are far bigger than the game itself, and when one member of our brotherhood hurts, we all hurt alongside you.

Though our schedule has changed and we are now playing Chequamegon this coming Friday night instead of Alma Center-Lincoln, our hearts remain with the Massman family and the entire Alma Center community.

To honor Adam and support those who loved him, 100% of the gate admissions from Friday night’s game will be donated directly to the Massman family.

We encourage our city to come out, support the team, and help us show the power of community when it matters most. To Adam’s family, teammates, coaches, classmates, and school—please know that you are surrounded by our love, thoughts, and prayers during this unimaginable time. 💙🏈💛

Mrs. Mudgett (Art)-A little about me—I live in Gilman, Wisconsin, with my husband and our Golden Retriever, Ranger. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, reading, and, of course, creating art. I am thrilled to be part of the Cornell community and look forward to getting to know each of my students.

Mrs. Oemig (MS/HS Math)-My husband and I were born and raised in Cornell. We are so happy that we are able to raise our 3 kids and 2 chocolate labs (Rip and Coco) here. We also own The Main Scoop so you may have seen me around there, or on any ball field or court I can find.

Mr. Slowiak-(MS/HS Social Studies)-Where I am from:
 I am originally from South Korea. I was adopted and came to the U.S. and grew up in Chippewa Falls.
My Family:
 My family includes my parents, Greg and Tami. Then I have a older brother Zach who is married with two kids.
Interests/Hobbies
 I love music. I have been apart of different choirs and show choirs (singing and dancing) throughout my life time.
 During my free time I enjoy playing videos games, Spikeball, and Bean Bags.
 Sports: I am a Green Bay Packers fan and Brewers/Cubs fan

Preparing for a new school year takes a lot of hard work, and having delicious smashburgers and fries delivered to our team made our in-service day so special. We are beyond lucky to have such kind, supportive local businesses right here in our community.

Tomorrow the halls fill back up with students, but today our Cornell teachers and staff are already hard at work getting everything ready for another school year.

So we wanted to take care of lunch. ❤️

Today, The Silver Wolff delivered 50 Smashburgers and fries to the teachers and staff at Cornell Elementary and Cornell Junior/Senior High School as they spent their in-service day preparing for tomorrow.

It’s a small way for us to say THANK YOU for everything you do for our kids and our community throughout the year.

We hope you enjoyed lunch, and we hope everyone has an amazing first day and a great school year! 🍎📚
