🐾💙 KEEP POUNDING, COUGARS! 💙🐾

Did you see that our Spirit Rock got a makeover earlier this week? 🏈

A HUGE thank you to CES dad and talented artist , who volunteered his time and talent to create this amazing Panthers-themed design for our school! You may recognize Justin’s work from the incredible new Cougar mural he painted in the gym!

Ms. Gibson is entering our rock into the Carolina Panthers Spirit Rocks Art Contest, where schools across the Carolinas are showing off their Panthers pride for a chance to win grant funding from Panthers Charities to support their school art programs!

The top four Spirit Rocks will be selected by the Panthers Kickoff Committee and move on to a public vote on Panthers.com September 7–10. 👀

🤞 Fingers crossed our Cougar rock makes the final four — because if it does, we’ll need the whole CES community to help us vote!

Thank you again, Justin, for making our school a little more colorful — and a lot more Panthers proud! 🐾🏈💙

We’ll go over everything you need to know for the year, responsibilities, best practices, and answer any questions!

Celebrate Your Cougar with the CES Spirit Rock! 🎂

Have a birthday or special milestone coming up? Make their day extra special by painting the CES Spirit Rock just for them!

🎨 Your reservation begins at 4:00 PM the day BEFORE your reserved date, giving you time to paint and have the rock ready for your Cougar’s big day! Please read through the instructions on the signup genius before selecting your date.

Dates can fill up quickly, so plan ahead and grab your spot! 👇

Painting the School Spirit Rock requires your acceptance of these rules: If you hire a painter, you MUST make them aware of these times and rules.Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. You may sign-up for one day, per student.Once reserved, you will have the rock for 24 hours, from 4pm...

🛝 KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES -- Join us THIS Thursday after school for popsicles on the (side) playground! 🛝

After pick up, students can enjoy a popsicle, spend some time with their new teacher, and play with their classmates.

Parents can connect with other Kindergarten families, learn about volunteer opportunities with the CES PTO, and have the chance to sign up to be a Room Parent for their child’s class!

🐾 Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Last week, our halls were filled with smiling faces, new classrooms, teacher hellos and LOTS of excitement—and now the countdown is almost over. Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! ✏️

We can’t wait to welcome our Cougars back for another amazing year at CES!
