On Friday, September 30, Cornelia Elementary students earned a “Picnic with the Principal”. Congratulations to the following students who are pictured with Principal Marybeth Thomas: Jeronimo Diego Manuel, Evan Martin, Daniel Macias-Queriapa, Ezequiel Tomas Tomas, Daniela Perez Morales, David Andres Manuel, and Keaton Kite. CES would like to thank the Cornelia Police Department for providing the funds to purchase the food for our picnic. We would also like to thank HEMC for donating the nice blankets for our students to sit on.

We are honored to be this years sponsor for the Lunch with the Principal program at Cornelia Elementary. The kids work really hard to be able to earn this lunch and we are excited to team up with Ms. Marybeth Thomas, Principal, and the amazing staff of the school.

First grade students enjoyed two books this past week, The Camping Trip and Going on a Bear Hunt. Our students enjoyed beautiful scenery, s'mores, and 'camping' in a tent. However, we were afraid to go bear hunting. The teachers had fun too!
